My family and I decided to have a more intimate gathering this year for Thanksgiving so I wanted to spoil everyone with a more decadent option!
I’ve only made beef wellington twice before and one recipe called for the beef filet to be wrapped in a crepe but the other said to wrap it in prosciutto which I prefer a lot more because I like the salty taste of the ham. And not going to lie… if I can add extra meat into my dishes I sure as hell will! My recipe for the wellington was strongly inspired by Gordon Ramsey’s but I added some of my own touches with thyme and I replaced the chestnuts with walnuts just because I couldn’t find any haha! But it still tasted amazing!
